Bio
Andy Zmugg is a Consultant at Avec Group LLC focused on operational integration, start-up / development projects and marketing communications. With more than 30 years of corporate and consulting experience, Andy has led the launch of multiple multimillion-dollar growth initiatives – both within existing global enterprises and as independent businesses.
Most recently, Andy co-founded a PE-backed auto repair roll-up business, where he led store onboarding and integrations of more than 60 sites as the Chief Operating Officer. His expertise spans a range of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, consumer and business services, and technology. Prior to Avec Group, Andy ran his own management consultancy, was a Principal within the Corporate Strategy portfolio at North Highland Consulting, and created multiple strategic, ‘beyond-the-core’ growth initiatives for Caterpillar.
Prior to earning his MBA from the London Business School, Andy was a vice president in the Dallas office of the global communications firm, Fleishman-Hillard. There he managed national media campaigns and strategic planning for clients across a spectrum of technology, telecommunications, entertainment, hospitality and non-profit organizations.
Andy has served on boards of private schools, and led community-based, economic development efforts to drive start-ups. In addition to his M.B.A, he has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University.
